Strengthening The Resolve Of Our Enemies

On Sunday, something great has happened to those of us associated with a small college in New Hampshire.

This very same thing has put our country in immediate danger.

Army and Dartmouth squared off yesterday in a competition. At the end of the competition, Dartmouth celebrated while Army walked off in defeat.

The contest had nothing to do with brains… or being the weakest… or going to the northern-most school.

Quite the contrary, the contest was all about brawn, strength, athleticism, passion, courage, and the ability never to give up.

The game — RUGBY. The stage — USA Sevens College National Championships.

Based on the information I’ve given you thus far, things aren’t SO bad for our country because of this outcome. I mean, yes, one could argue that a little place like Dartmouth should never CRUSH Army in anything.  But at the end of the day, it’s just rugby and no one probably knows that this match even happened.

FALSE.
SO FALSE.
THE GAME WAS ON NBC.
YEAH, THEY TELEVISED THE SMACKDOWN.
THIS IS BAD.
THIS IS SO BAD.

Networks put Army on TV for the sole reason of showing Army come out victorious, thus delivering the message of “don’t you DARE try to mess with us” to the rest of the world

The message delivered Sunday afternoon, however, was “eh, I mean… we’d appreciate it if you didn’t mess with us, mainly because we’re sorta tired. Thxbye.”

Sunday was our March Madness. Congrats to the gents on the Dartmouth Men’s Rugby Team. And like I said, great day for us, horrible day for our country.

So Pumped.
