So Close. So Far.

I spent my Saturday enjoying a beautiful afternoon in Brooklyn on the Williamsburg Waterfront.

It was great and when I left to head home in the late afternoon, I couldn’t imagine having a better Saturday.

Boy oh BOY was I wrong. So so so so wrong.

This was the scene, happening about 3/4ths of a mile down from me.

If you were there, don’t tell me you were there. I won’t speak to you until Thursday.

The thing about NY is that there’s ALWAYS someone having a little bit more fun than you.

In this case, it was about 20,000 people. Sigh.
